Hinterland Honeycomb

Our Hinterland Honeycomb is the purest expression of the hive. Hand-cut from fresh frames of virgin wax, each piece is made entirely by the bees and left exactly as nature intended.

Unlike extracted honey, honeycomb is the hive itself. The bees build every hexagonal cell from scratch, filling it with raw honey and sealing it with natural wax. To harvest it, whole frames must be carefully removed, cut by hand, and then rebuilt. This makes honeycomb a seasonal, limited product and one of the most labour-intensive offerings we produce.

The result is a rare and textural experience. Clean, fragrant wax gives way to raw hinterland honey with floral depth and natural variation, shaped by the seasons and the surrounding landscape.

Enjoy it simply with cheese, fresh bread, or fruit, or savour it on its own as a quiet indulgence.
